General
- You will be forced to new area when you level, new area might increase in difficulty
- It might make sense to have a higher level newbie to assist lower levels. you get easily get money at lvl 2 by selling equipment, this lvl 2 can then buy picks for lvl 1, so they can stay in lvl 1 area forever
- Buy shield
- Kill Drider for scimitar
- Go grab stuff from oven often, to carry with you. For heal when low, you can also run up and buy biscuits
Level 1: Go down to the Proving grounds, listen to Helden, he will give you a pick, use this to "pick rock" in the area west of Helden until you have enough for level. You can also easily kill the rats here for another 40-50 xp pr kill

- 40-50 xp per rat
- When at something like 170% xp, the pick will destruct
Level 2: Go down to the Surface Proving grounds, Listen to Barog, go in and kill monsters. It can be wise to go get some food out of the oven for healing,
- Kobolds provide leather armour and short sword or a hatchet (autoattack)
- Minotaur: Hatchet, 100xp, 3gold
- Lizard-man: Spear
- Note, you cannot re-enter this place after you level up to lvl 3
Level 3: go to the Cavern Masters Office, and listen to Caradoc
- go kill monsters until you can level, Decrepid hook horrors, Mind Flayers and Hell Hounds are easy. Driders are hard, but drops a better weapon (Scimitar)
Level 4: Go to the Lore Masters Office, and listen to Girthwer
