Description

This spell enchants one person with the ability to delay the touch of death should they drop to negative hit points. If the target gets healed before the delay of death wears off, death is avoided. The target will stay alive until they reach a negative amount of hit points based on the caster's level and necromancy school. At this time, they will instantly die regardless of enchantment. While in the negative hit point range the enchanted target suffers drastic penalties to movement, but can still cast spells, fight and use guild commands as if perfectly healthy.
The duration of the enchantment is based on the original caster's level and power in necromancy.
