Story: 

Story 17                          The Captain                  Told By Taniwha

~~ I saw, the other day, a friend who for all practical reasons should have ~~
~ been perfecting his solitaire skills in the jail.  But there he was, walking ~
~~~ amongst the crowds in daggerford, even waving at the watchmen.  When i ~~~
~~ questioned him, he merely motioned to a torn piece of paper - a recipe of ~
~ sorts, in his inside pocket besides a jagged edged dagger. This potion was ~
~~ made of herbs and plants that i had not heard of before - some type of a ~~
~~~~~ hazel nut, perhaps, a bit of bark, some fungus, and a few others..  ~~~~
~~ Apparently, this mixture convinced the police captain to let his friends ~~
~ take him home.  I saw no more than that, for the more interested I was, the ~
~~ more my friend fingered the dagger -- one that usually the captain would ~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ have claimed for his own personal collection. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
