You see Nindaka the male drow, Nindaka has been an apprentice to the great wizard Xlan for a very long time. After the great wizard disappeared he has refused to accept his master's death. He still awaits Xlan's return and has repeatedly refused to take his master's position as a Master of the Arts. He has not however, quit his studies and is rumored to be very powerful.

He is in excellent condition.

Dear Nindaka,
I have as, you know, studied the aboleth for a long time and lately i have made some discoveries. I managed to isolate a part in their eye-ball that causes fear in most people. I have managed to trap this power in a special construct.
I have long felt my power detoriating and now I have decided to leave banefall. I want to attempt to pierce the aboleth psychic field once more. I think I have discovered a way through the tunnel, I will have to try and see.
If i should fail and not return i will leave the secret of the aboleth'ss power near the field. To avoid unwanted trespassers I will put the secret in a chest and lock it with number code we experimented with.

As you read the last line, the letter crumbles and destroys itself.
