Description

Jhordie Aeln is the half-elven adventurer who leads this town, for the simple reason that he is the only one who still cares about living. His shoulder length ashen hair is flecked with strands of grey, but his eyes are still sharp, and his grip is strong when you shake hands. However, his shoulders are slumped under the weight of the problem that faces him. Perhaps you could help him?

Jhordie Aeln asks: Problem? Aye, I have a problem..this whole stinking town has a problem, I tell you...and not a one but I cares a whit. But you would hear of what besets our small village?
Jhordie Aeln sighs heavily.
Jhordie Aeln says: The few villagers you see are the only people left alive here. It's the Remorhaz creature, you see. The bloody things smell fresh meat and come pouring out of the ice caves. And there aint a thing we can do to stop them.

Jhordie Aeln says: Ahhhh...the ice worms... That's what most folk call them anyhow. Not me..I read about them once in a book. Never thought I'd have to face one in real life. Remorhaz are creatures of the ice. They're like huge worms, but their moves are lightning quick..I've seen many an adventurer lose their life to a Remorhaz... They never used to bother us though...if only we still had the Coldfire Sword...

Berelynn that is, the sword's chosen wielder. She swore that she'd rid us of the Remorhaz menace once and for all...took the Coldfire sword and went down into the tunnels.
Jhordie Aeln sighs heavily.
Jhordie Aeln says: We never saw her again. Rumor is that she found their nest and came face to face with some full grown Remorhaz. Yeah..that's right. The creatures that are destroying our
town are not even adult members of the species yet.

Jhordie Aeln spits.
Jhordie Aeln says: You look like a strong group. What do you say? Will you help save our town and retrieve the Coldfire Sword? You can't do any worse than the last party of fools, and if you -=do=- succeed, I'll make it well worth your while. Just bring me back the sword if you find it..
