Walkthrough

Location: Valetis Flats, head to the waterfall area in Shadow Mithril Mines (see Mission Quest 139 - Lost Rosary for directions).

At the waterfall room head up,one south, then up a lot till you reach the top room, there is a hidden west exit so just go west and you are in the flats full of hard hitting giant animals.

Directions to the room you want are: w, s, 2xse, ne, e, n, ne, se.

There you will come across Voliath the Giant

Kill him, he hits hard but is not too tough for a couple of players.

Deathblow not required

On his death there is a chest that needs to be opened. Knock works

Rewards: Priests who can cast courage get it upgraded to a multi-target one and double duration.

In the chest is

• a Scroll of Unbreakable for mage types.
• Fire Emerald
• Dusk Helm
• Dawn Helm
• Green Emerald
• War Spear
• Battlecry Manual

You also get xp and plat the first time you complete the quest.

Note, Battleragers must wear Dusk Helm to be able to see the manual in the chest. If a battlerager studies the manual, he will also solve Quest 142 - Battlecry and get the Battlecry command
