Storyteller

In icy tunnels long since deserted you will find one who yet remains. He and one other know why the halls are empty now. He should have died long ago, but revenge has kept him from deaths reach.

Story: 

Walkthrough

• Go to Groshkar the Summoner
  • You need to pass the Bridge on the STF volcano
    • You may fall off this bridge, dropping held items, pluss the last item you picked up. Pickup a mace or axe from one of the orcs to be safe
• Prep for fight, target: giants (not monsters)
• Protect Groshkar, and add him to cure aliases
• Give him a large gem to have him start a summoning.
• This will take quite awile, and there will be spawning waves of giants
• These giants will tackle you, so be mindful of dropping weapons and shields (Tank shields in particular)
• Targets:
  • Ice Giants
• Attacks:
  • Ram (fall to "nodir"?)
  • Tackle
• After having fought some 5-6 waves of these giants, Groshkar will say the ritual is done.
• Go sw,se,se,e,n,ne (several locked doors on the way)
• Prep for battle, prep all stunning commands (fast ones preferrable)
  • Ghoul Touch works
  • Bash works, but very slow, not recommended
• Dig north, and go north where you will meet Shalria

• When Shalria does the following message in bright yellow, stun her FAST (I believe this is the spell Hypothermia)

     Shalria, Dragon of the Mists spreads her wings and rears onto her hind legs as she prepares
     for a massive stomp.  In this moment she exposes a vulnerability to
     incapacitation attacks.

• The below message in green indicates success. No idea what happens if you cant interrupt her, but i think it is probably bad...

     Shalria, Dragon of the Mists falls backwards as her attack is interrupted!
     The great beast hesitates for a moment, then quickly returns to her feet.

• After killing it, she drops a Mist Dragon Scale, and a treasure chest
• 'gaze scale' to solve the quest for the main quest reward
  • Pally mount Apocalypse
  • ...

Chest contains:

• Red ruby.
• Idol of the Spider Queen.
• Two Fire emeralds.
• Idol of Raisa.
• Idol of Grimbrand.
• Two Tokens of Inspiration.
• Two Platinum Tokens of Inspiration.

Shalria casts at least

Shalria:

The great Ice Wyrm sits proudly here and glares at you, her head is covered with bright white scales
and her teeth look like icicles. Her neon blue tongue flickers hungrilly amongst the monstrous teeth 
and pupiless sapphire blue eyes seem to stare into the depths of your heart. As you draw your gaze 
from her eyes you notice that she also has sharp icicle like claws to match her teeth. Her back and 
tail are studded with razor sharp spines. 

She is slightly hurt.
Her purse is fit to burst!

You peer intently for magical auras..
Shalria, Dragon of the Mists appears to be surrounded by:
Pale sparkles of vermillion and it's permanent.
Faint flashing cobalt blue and it's permanent.
Pale sparkles of magenta and it's permanent.
A definate aura of orc and it's permanent.
A definate aura of troll and it's permanent.
A definate aura of gnome and it's permanent.
A definate aura of dwarf and it's permanent.
Womple on little frog, womple on.

Quotes

Groshkar the Summoner says: Rakmar destroyed us all in the volcano.

Groshkar the Summoner says: He claims the lands as his now.

Groshkar the Summoner says: One day soon, our goddess Hoera shall return.

Groshkar the Summoner says: If but I had a large gem I could complete the ritual, and open the gateway once again.

After giving him gem:

The Summoner places the gem at the center of the circle.
The Summoner announces: Everyone must remain within the circle while I perform the ritual. Leaving will cause this all to be a complete waste of time.

The Summoner announces: I am sure Rakmar will send his agents during this ritual.  You must protect me from them for the entire course.
The Summoner announces: Very well, I will begin the ritual.
The Summoner begins gesturing and chanting...
There is a trembling and stomping coming from the surface of the volcano above you.  Something or somethings are headed this way...

Several Ice Giants begin pouring into the room! You must fend them off.

After fending off all the waves of giants, Rakmar will appear

Rakmar appears from nowhere.
Rakmar exclaims: You fools have no idea what you are dealing with!
                 Begone from this place at once!
You hear the beating of massive wings in the distance.
Rakmar smirks and says: Shalria my pet, deal with these annoyances.
And with that, Rakmar vanishes from sight.
Giant clawing and scrapping noises are coming from the southeast.
