    ~ Final Realms - Races

Sea-elf
 --------------
Once mistaken for mermaids, then mistaken
for elves, sea-elves are a territorial race that
cannot easily be pinned down.  Some will climb aboard
your boat and slit your throat.  Some will swim to
your rescue.  Most aren't happy either way that you are in
their waters.  They also feel this way about any other swimming
races, but bear an extreme hatred for sahuagin and kuo-toa.
Nothing more than a war over territory, these races can't stand
each other and will fight without notice.  And most
don't notice, since the fighting happens beneath the waves.

Sea-elves are average sized humanoids with greenish to blue
skin, with finned bodies facilitating excellent swimming.  Due to their
large almond eyes and pointy ears, they were thought to be closely
related to elves, but no evidence of such has ever been found.
