This is a small bottle of poison, made of magically enhanced glass to prevent it from breaking. That is certainly a good thing, because spilling this poison made of ingredients from the Underdark all over you could prove fatal. You need to 'annoint' a weapon with this poison to use it, though only those with innate knowlendge of magical poisons should attempt this. Also note that both hands needs to be free to annoint a weapon, and you should never try to do this in the midst of a battle.

Aboleth Extract.
An important ingredient in this poison is the extract of an aboleth's tentacle, which has the known effect of turning skin transparent if the aboleth touches its victim. However, this extract is mixed with the blood of a virgin elf and magically manipulated so the poison infects the lungs of the victim. The lungs will turn transparent and fill up with blood, causing amusing effects.
