~~~~~~~ A wandering woodsmen walked into the pub earlier ranting about ~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ a giant he had seen high in the mountain flats. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ He claims: "this giant was a full 2 heads taller than the rest, and this ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ giant bellowed to be king among all giants." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~ "The giant seemed to be asking around if anyone had seen a sling wielding ~ ~~~~ young man that had bested one of his family members. Walkthrough
Location: Valetis Flats, head to the waterfall area in Shadow Mithril Mines (see Mission 139 for directions). At the waterfall room head up a lot till
you reach the top room, there is a hidden west exit so just go west and you are in the flats full of hard hitting giant animals. Directions to the room
you want are: w, s, 2xse, ne, e, n, ne, se.
There you will come across Voliath the Giant. Kill him, he hits hard but is not too tough for a couple of players. On his death there is a chest that
needs to be opened.
Rewards: Priests who can cast courage get it upgraded to a multi-target one and double duration. In the chest is a Scroll of Unbreakable for mage types.
You also get xp and plat the first time you complete the quest.
