Story 79 Old wise man Told By Mordant

~~~~~~~~ A long time ago, during one of my journeys, I met an old man ~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~ whoose search for the 'spirit essence' had led him to those ~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~ who knew the most about it. He trained both his mind and his ~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ body, and soon they both became one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ But before he could finish his studies, a vicious ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~ internal fight took place, and he decided not to get involved. ~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ surrounding. On his journey to his new home, he ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ encountered many dangers, which increased his ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ knowledge about the creatures in the area. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~ Finally, when he thought he had climbed far enough, he built ~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ a small hut, and started out on his new life. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Missions

2.  Argos has asked you to bring him a Polished Gem.

Walkthrough

1. Go up the Kyoda mountain (see Quest 75 - Light Meditate for details), then instead of going north to Sifu, go south (at the gate), then dig more snow until you find Argos
2. Say training to start the quest
3. You will need to give him various gems:
   1. Polished Gem from the sunken pirate ship (Quest 249 - Gold and thunder)
   2. Valuable Gem from mining in Vilmiud (Quest 122 - Banyon's Assignments)
   3. Opal from the gem shop in Oceania

Argos says: Well I too seek something, Kralich.
Argos says: One of my hobbies is to collect assorted gems. I heard there was a
Pirate that was in possession of a highly valuable Polished Gem.
Argos says: But strangely the pirate and his crew disappeared while sailing the
Sword Seas.. If you were to recover this gem and give it to me,
then I'd be willing to train you some.

Argos says: Oh yeah, this one is a beauty.

Argos says: But there is still another gem out there that I'd like to add to my
collection. I heard there are supposed to be some valuable gems to
be had nearby Vilmiud. If you could bring me one of those I'd
train you for sure.

Argos exclaims: So it's true! It does exist!

Argos asks: I'd hate to do this to you again but there is still one other gem I
need to complete my collection. It's an exquisite opal found near
Oceania. Could you find it for me so I can finish my collection?

Argos exclaims: This is perfect! Finally my collection is complete!
Argos says: Well for the time being at least....
Argos says: Now I will train you.
