This is a broad silver band created long ago by a mysterious race of religious devotees for a god who no longer holds power in the realms.  Nevertheless, the rings are still a useful conduit to the heavens for those who know how to use them.

The power seems to be chained up in the ring, and you concentrate deeply on the emanations radiating from the powerful artifact.
