This area comprises the largest part of the Realms. Daggerford, the central city, is a walled fortress. It allows good races to enter freely, and is home to several guilds, including Delfen's mage tower, the Thieves' Guild, a fighter hall, and the Hokemj and Timion temples. It is the oldest city in the Realms. A major point of interest is the Lady Luck Tavern, where you can keep updated about news and quests in the upstairs board room (as well as grab a good beer). The swamps to the west of the city are also part of Sword Sea. Heading north along the North-South Road, you will turn west and hit the Sahieren Beach, which lines the shining Sword Sea. Belgar's Haven is a small struggling town that has recently experienced a resurgence with the advent of the shipping industry. Well-to-do players can purchase and arm a ship for travel to many islands both near and far. These islands, whose names include Ocheasuu, M'dorn, and the Warden's Isle, as well as other, more secret places that only diligent exploration (or a good guide) will reveal.
